Straight Outta Norfolk, VA: An Interview with Buck Down of Combine

Discography: Norfolk, VA  (Caroline, 1995) The History of American Rock and Roll  (Caroline, 1996) Combine were an indie/punk outfit from Norfolk, VA. Though they managed to have some great indie success, both nationally and in the Tidewater region, they never hit the big time, though they deserved it richly. The band released two national albums on Caroline Records and were in the process of making a third when they fell apart. You can’t obtain their records on most digital platforms but they do have a Bandcamp ( https://combine1.bandcamp.com/ ) where the music can be heard in all its glorious remastered form.
